End-to-End Encryption & Zero-Retention Compliance
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
Truples ("we", "our", or "the Service") operates a high-privacy, end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) messenger platform. We are deeply committed to protecting your personal data, communication confidentiality, and financial assets.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect the absolute minimum amount of information necessary to authenticate accounts and deliver encrypted messages:
- Account Identifiers: Login username / account ID.
- Cryptographic Hashes: Passwords and security PIN codes are strictly stored as one-way cryptographic hashes. Plaintext credentials never touch or reside on our servers.
- Session Tokens: Cryptographically signed JWT tokens for maintaining active WebSocket connections.
- Optional Profile Data: Display nickname, avatar icon, status message, and custom profile fields configured by the user with selective visibility controls.
2. Zero-Retention & End-to-End Encryption Policy
Our core privacy architecture relies on rigorous zero-retention standards:
- E2EE Messaging: All direct messages and group chats are end-to-end encrypted. Temporary ciphertexts buffered on our server are purged permanently from the database the moment they are fetched and acknowledged by the recipient's device.
- Zero Plaintext Storage: The server never has access to encryption private keys and cannot decrypt or read chat messages, attachments, or voice notes.
3. Account Destruction & Data Deletion
Users have complete control over their digital footprint. When an account deletion is requested or triggered via security panic credentials, all user records, hashed credentials, cryptographic sessions, and asset ledger records are permanently and irrecoverably erased from our databases.
4. Third-Party Sharing & Tracking
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or analytics tracking SDKs.
